My chaotic life raising six kids
Aidan has been running a fever the last few days. The twins have also had one, but theirs has not been as high as his. Hopefully they will all be feeling better tomorrow. Having to deal with a bunch of sick kids is not fun at all!
Kayli definitely has 5th disease. She broke out in the rash over the weekend. It looks just like all the pictures of the 5th disease rash I was able to find on the internet. This pretty much confirms in my mind that I had 5th disease when I was sick last month.
I know I should not complain about getting too many orders, but at some point it gets to be a bit overwelming. Last week we got two huge orders. One was a rush order destined for a twins club convention. It had to arrive today because they are leaving for the convention in the morning. I had two days to get it all packages so that it would arrive in time. I even put the girls to work helping put the sticker labels on some of the bags. I just got an email saying she got the package of “your beautiful twin products”. Yeah!!! Getting wonderful emails like that makes all the hard work worth it.
The other order is about three times larger and destined for Australia. It is going to take me a couple of weeks to get everything together for that order. I have already put the girls to work putting stickers on bags again. (They seem to enjoy doing it and they work for slurpees!) I talked to the freight guy that will be shipping the boxes to Australia. I found out that it takes 21 days for the ship to get from here to there and they have a boat that ships out every Sunday. That was good to know. Now I don’t have to worry about missing a boat that only sails once a month or so.
We also got our new stickers in last week. They turned out great! Everyone I’ve showed them to just loves them. Seems like just about every order we have had this week includes them, which I think is a good sign! We are running out of room for boxes in the bonus room, so all but one box of the stickers has found its way to our bedroom. We are going to have to find a better solution to the storage problem soon or the new paper and sticker designs in the works are going to take over our bedroom.
