My chaotic life raising six kids
Our school has a special breakfast for all the 2nd grade kids the day before the receive their First Communion. The kids all sang for us. Jared and Riley got to do part of the readings and did a great job. The food was so good that the boys had seconds.
The twins made these banners for their First Communion. All the kids in the class had to design and create their own banners. I think Jared and Riley did a great job. They turned out so cute!

I took the twins First Holy Communion portraits today. The will be having their First Holy Communion in a few weeks. They are so excited! Here’s a few of the shots.
The twins’ soccer team had their end of the year party tonight. It was held at one of the family’s home. The twins were excited to get their trophies.

The twins started 2nd grade today. This is a big year because it is First Holy Communion year. There will be a ton of activities that go along with that this year.

We went ice skating today for the twins birthday. The neighbor boys came along with us. Everyone had a great time!
Jared and Riley turned 8 years old today. We celebrated their birthday with a family party this evening. They wanted to go ice skating for their birthday, but we won’t be able to fit it into the schedule until Saturday.
I took the kids to play at the Splash Pad today. They all had fun playing in all the water. When it was time to go, I had all the kids but Riley with me. I told Jared to use his twin telepathy and tell Riley to come over her so we could leave. Jared stared over at Riley and then Riley came running saying, “I came a fast as I could”. It was so funny! I’m not sure whether the twins really can communicate telepathically, but sometimes it sure seems like they can!
The twins got their DS’s for Christmas. They love playing on them and usually will play on them at the same time. They are absolutely obsessed with making sure their DS’s charge exactly the same amount. They coordinate plugging them in to charge and unplugging them as well. It is so funny to watch them. I’ve seen them grab their DS, look at each other, say “Ready? Unplug!” and then simultaneously unplug their DS. They go through the same routine when plugging them in. If one of them has his DS charging when the other’s isn’t charging, I’ve seen them get mad at each other about it.
Last night the Cub Scouts had their annual Promotion Ceremony. Aidan was promoted from Bears to Webelos and the twins were promoted from Tigers to Wolves.
