Final Plumbing Finished



The plumbers came on Monday and installed all the rest of the plumbing. Kayli took the first bath in the new bathtub last night.

They ended up putting a big hole in the wall in the stair case. To get the shower plumbing to work.


We’ll have to get that fixed. We were planning on painting that wall anyway. Now it just goes up a bit higher on the list.

The contractor came by to check it today and discovered a small leak under one of the sinks. So, the plumbers will have to come back and fix that. Once that is done, we can get the final inspection scheduled.

Update on the new bathroom

Our new cabinet and counter top are now installed.

The tile is also all done.

Here’s a close-up of the tile around the bathtub.

The plumbers come Monday morning to finish up. They will installed the fixtures and toilet and then we will be able to start using this bathroom!

Another temporary crown

I’ve lost count of how many temporary crowns and crowns I’ve gone through since September. Here’s hoping this one is the last. My dentist is going to use a different lab for the crown this time. He is totally at a loss for why this keeps happening.

Looking back at my previous posts, this next crown will be number 7. Let’s hope it is lucky number 7!

Float Talia Worked On

Talia’s girl scout troop worked on the Rose Parade floats this year. This is the float she helped with. She also spent 8 hours on another day cutting yellow straw flowers for all the floats. She was excited to see it on tv.
