They got the electrical all pretty much done today, except for the stub for the BBQ. Demo was also done to the concrete on the side of the house. This was needed so they could run the gas line out to the meter.
My chaotic life raising six kids

We traded one of the twins racecar toddler bed to a friend for this twin sized princess bed for Falyn. We moved her from the racecar toddler bed (she had been using the other racecar toddler bed) to this bed last night. She looks so small is this bigger twin sized bed. It has plenty of room for all her stuffed animals and even came with a matching doll bed that she is using for her baby doll. She absolutely loves it!
Today work started on the electrical part of the pool. Electrical conduit was run and the casing for the lights was installed. On the plumbing side, all the pipes for the spa jets and pool returns, spills and the slide were put in place.

The workers finished up the rebar today. With all the steel outlining where the pool will be, you can really start to see what it is going to look like. We are loving the design and think it is going to be gorgeous when it is finished. The plumbers continued their work today and started placing the pipes for water and gas.
Today they started rebar and plumbing on our pool. It is so much fun to watch the pool take shape. We all can’t wait to dive in!
I had a lovely Mother’s Day. It started with breakfast in bed and continued with presents, and lots of relaxing. We went over to Dan’s parents’ house for dinner.
Here’s the card the kids made for me. (Sadly, they seem to have inherited my bad spelling abilities.)

The digging is done! This slideshow shows the progress from when they started digging to when they finished. Next step is putting rebar.
They started digging the pool today. By the end of the day they were around half way done. They will be back tomorrow to finish digging.
Today that mapped out the pool in the backyard. It was really neat to see exactly where the pool is going to be located and how big it will be. Tomorrow they will start digging.
Falyn’s preschool held it’s annual Mother’s Tea today. The kids served their moms muffins. After enjoying the muffins and juice, we returned to the classroom. There the kids sang a song and presented the moms with presents they had made – cute butterfly clips with magnets.
Here’s the video of the kids singing.
