Kayli’s 8th Grade DC Trip at the Airport
I just dropped Kqyli off at the airport for her DC trip. They will be gone for a week and visit DC, Pennsylvania and New York City. I know she will have a great time.
Riley’s Principal’s Award
Riley received his Principal’s Award today. Since they normally give them out on the last Friday of the month, we were both surprised that he got it today, what with it being neither a Friday or the last week of the month. Had I known, I would have been there to take pictures of him getting it. In any case, we are very proud of him for having gotten this award.
3rd Grade Cotillion
Jared and Riley have been enjoying Cotillion. This is their first year and they have done a great job learning all the dances. They look so cute doing them too.
Aidan Receives Scout Rank
LA Marathon
Dan ran his first marathon today. He did great, finishing in 4:51:39. We are all very proud of him.
SBS Open House 2012
Tonight was open house at the younger kids’ school. We had a great time visiting all the classrooms and looking at all their work.

Talia’s 17th Birthday
Talia turned 17 today. I can’t believe that I have a child that old or that this time next year she will be 18 and almost done with her senior year of high school. She has turned out to be such a sweet, caring, beautiful and smart young lady that we all love very much.
Queen Mary Cub Scout Sleepover
The boys and Dan went to a cub scout sleepover on the Queen Mary last night. They all had a great time!
Ready for Drywall
All the pluming and electrical is done in our kitchen remodel. Next step, drywall!
