Falyn’s kindergarten class put on a Nativity play today. Falyn was an angel. They all did such a great job and looked just adorable.

Making Gingerbread Houses
After ice skating, we made gingerbread houses. This year I bought two kits, so the boys could do one and the girls could do the other. Talia and Kayli convinced Falyn to do all the gingerbread people, leaving the girl house to the two of them to decorate. Everyone did a great job and had fun with only a bit of the candy ending up in mouths and not on the houses.
Girl Scout Ice Skating Event
Falyn was so excited to finally be a Girl Scout and get to go to the annual Girl Scout Ice Skating Event. Since it was held during a free skate session, Dan had the twins’ Cub Scout den have a Ice Skating outing at the same time. Everyone had a great time.
Lunar Eclipse
Dan and the kids got up at 4 am this morning to watch the lunar eclipse. The twins got extra credit in science for getting up to watch it and sending in pictures.
Falyn’s Kindergarten Christmas Show
Falyn had her kindergarten Christmas show this evening. Falyn asked me to curl her hair for show. It looked so cute! They kids all had a great time performing for everyone, especially Falyn, who loves to be on stage.
Daisy Girl Scout Holiday Party
Falyn had a great time at the Daisy Girl Scout holiday party tonight. They decorated cookies, made photo ornaments and created a snow globe. They also did a book exchange.
Arrow of Light Ceremony
Tonight Aidan received the Arrow of Light. It is the highest award a Cub Scout can achieve. We are all very proud of his hard work in attaining this award.
Christmas Card Photo Shoot
We went to Heritage Park this afternoon to take our Christmas Card photos. It is a lovely park with lots of scenic areas to take photos. We got a lot of great shots. It will be hard to pick out which ones to use for our Christmas Cards. Here’s some of my favorites.

3rd Grade Thanksgiving Party
The twins’ 3rd grade class had their Thanksgiving party today. They sponge painted cute turkey aprons, learned out to properly set a table, had a thanksgiving feast and did a turkey craft out project. They all had a lot of fun.
