Falyn is so excited to finally be a Girl Scout and selling Girl Scout cookies. She had her own cookie booth in front of our house today. She sold a bunch of boxes of cookies. We also took some pictures of her with the cookies to put on a flyer for Daddy to take to work.
Jared was so excited to be getting his Principal’s Award this morning. He got to go on SBS TV and receive his award from the principal. He earned the award by reading a bunch of books and getting over 100 accelerated reader points. Riley is hoping to get his next month
I made these yesterday and they were a big hit. The kids all loved them!
3/4 cup plus 3 Tablespoons butter
9 Tablespoons of Cocoa
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Flour
11 oz bag of peanut butter chips
Melt butter then combine with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well then pour into greased 9″x13″ pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
Dan and the twins made this pinewood derby twinkie cake for the annual cub scout cake auction. I think it turned out very cute and was a very creative entry.
The boys received their 1st Degree Orange Belts today. They have worked very hard and were excited to be moving up to the orange belt class. Jared was super excited to received the “Most Improved” award for this session.
Falyn moved up to the teal and silver pom-pom and received her perfect attendance medal tonight at cheer class. She loves cheer class and can’t wait for the next session to start.
Talia passed her driver’s test this afternoon and got her driver’s license. We are all thrilled for her. I’m not sure when I’ll be letting her drive herself though.
I took down the Christmas Cards this morning. Before taking them down I snapped a pic. With the cards gone, all of the Christmas decorations have been put away.
