We made our annual visit to the OC Fair today. Unlike previous years, it was not at all hot today. It was in the low 70’s, which is quite a bit different from the 100’s it has been in prior years. As always, we all had a great time.
Day 27 – Pool Construction – Drains
For the first time in almost a month, some work was done on our pool. They started installing the drains for the deck.
Adventure Playground
I took the boys to play at Adventure Playground this afternoon. It is located in Huntington Beach at Central Park near the Library. This is the first time we have gone there and the boys just loved it! They said they definitely want to go back next year.

Aidan’s 10 Year Old Portraits
I took Aidan’s 10 year old portraits today. We want his portraits to show things he is interested, so we did some with his soccer ball, boogie board and guitar.
Aidan’s 10th Birthday
Today was Aidan’s 10th birthday. He picked ice skating for his birthday activity. It was the first time the boys and Falyn had ever been ice skating. They all did really well and everyone had a ton of fun. We went in the afternoon and almost had the place to ourselves. At most, there were 20 people on the ice, with 10 or less on the ice most of the time.
Grandma Nancy, Grandpa Ron and Aunt Samantha came over tonight for a little party. Per Aidan’s request, we had pizza and Texas sheet cake.
Water Balloon Fight
Today I let the kids have some water play in the unfinished pool. We filled up 9 water balloons for each of them and let them loose. They had tons of fun tossing the balloons at each other.
