My chaotic life raising six kids
We had the Pink Ninja end of the season party tonight at Chuck-E-Cheese. All the kids had a blast. The team mom brought and adorable soccer ball cupcake cake. We handed out the trophies, photos and their name from the banner to all the kids.
The kindergarteners sang a song at this morning’s assembly. Of course Falyn sang the loudest and did all the hand motions. Falyn just loves performing in front of people and it sure shows.
Falyn is so excited to finally be a Girl Scout! She has been waiting to be a Daisy since she was very little and say her sisters doing Girl Scout activities. She had a lot of fun and can not wait for the next meeting.
With soccer season coming to a close, I wanted to put together some soccer collages for my team. I plan to hand them out at the end of the year party. I really like how they turned out and decided to put one together for each of my kids as well.
The kindergarteners got to wear their costumes to school today. They had a costume parade through all the other classrooms, then had a Halloween party in their classroom. They all had so much fun.
Falyn has decided she wants to be a goalie. She spends most of her time protecting the goal. These three pictures were taken all within about a minute of each other,
It may appear that she isn’t paying any attention to the game, but when the ball came down there, she kicked it out preventing the other team from scoring.
Jared and Riley have been playing really well this season.
These cards are double sided 3″x3″. I’m having them printed at the lab I use for my photography business. Falyn is going to hand them out to all the kids in her class on Halloween and will give them to her friends who aren’t in her class.
Another Saturday full of soccer. I was only able to go to Falyn and Aidan’s games. Here’s some pics.
Falyn’s kindergarten class had a “meet and greet” at the park today. The parents were all able to meet each other while the class aides kept the kids busy. It was fun meeting all the new parents. Looks like it is a great group of families!
The soccer season kicked into high gear today with the first game day. Kayli, Aidan, Jared, Riley and Falyn are all playing soccer this year. It makes for quite the juggling act getting them all to the right fields at the right time. I wasn’t able to make it to Aidan’s game because the time of his game conflicted with Falyn’s game. Since I am the coach, I have to be at Falyn’s game. The teams all did great and all the kids had a great time! Falyn was so tired after going to two games and playing in one that she fell asleep on the way home.
