My chaotic life raising six kids
Aidan turned 12 years old today. It’s hard to believe in just one short year he will be a teenager! He has been growing a lot this summer and will be taller than me before you know it. He celebrated with a Doctor Who themed family party.
Falyn was excited to loose her first top tooth today!
We had a great 4th of July which included swimming, fireworks and lots of great food. It was especially nice this year to have Dan’s sister Monica and her family visiting. Here’s some highlights.
All the kids enjoyed riding the waves at the beach today. Falyn has really gotten into boogie boarding this summer. She is getting good at it.
While Dan set up for Field Day, I took the kids for a hike around the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. It was a beautiful day for a hike. When we got back, they worked the radio a bit for Field Day.
We had a great time at the beach today. The kids played in the sand and went boogie-boarding. We look forward to returning many times this summer.
Falyn and her friends had a blast at Girl Scout Day at Angel Stadium tonight. They got to walk around the field before the game started. They then had hot dogs and watched the baseball game. It was the first baseball game Falyn has ever been too. She spent more time talking with her friends than watching the game. She said she had a great time and wants to go again next year.
The kids had fun doing this experiment!
The boys were promoted to Orange Belt with a Black Stripe. Next time they will test for their purple belts.
Jared, Riley, Aidan and Talia had their last day of school today. We are all excited for summer and are looking forward to our trip to Hawaii next month.
