Aidan lost his first tooth last night. It has been very wiggle for a while and he asked his dad to try to get it out for him. Dad tied a thread around and pulled and out popped the tooth. Aidan was thrilled! The tooth fairy left him a shiny gold one dollar coin in exchange for his tooth.
New Favorite Picture of the Twins
I just love how this came out! I took it for a sun flare challenge.
Day 25 – Siding is finished!!!
The siding was finished and the trash pile was hauled off today.
I was so glad to see all that trash go! Here’s a look at it before they took it all away.
Day 24
Our drywall guy finished the texture on the walls and ceiling upstairs and in the garage. Now it’s time to pick out paint colors!!!!

Aidan is a Tiger Scout
The cub scout pack had it’s annual promotion ceremony last night. As part of the ceremony, the incoming tiger scouts were given their neckerchiefs. Aidan and all the other kindergarten boys looked so cute in their new cub scout uniforms. Their den will be starting activities over the summer. I think Aidan is going to have a lot of fun being a cub scout.
Day 23
Work continued on the siding today.
The drywaller was also here today, doing the tape coat and fill coat.
He also scrapped the ceiling in the upstairs hallway and applied a new texture.
Gorgeous Sunset
Tonight’s sunset was very stunning. When Aidan say it, he told me that I had to take a picture of it. So I did.
Aidan’s End of the Year Kindergarten Picnic
Aidan had his end of the year kindergarten picnic today. Both the AM and PM classes were together at this picnic. This was the first time all the classes were together for an activity. They did a bunch of fun activities and had a pizza lunch. All the kids had a great time.
The kids have all grown so much this year! Here’s the class at the beginning of the year.
Ouch! My toe!
I hit my toe on the metal step stool in the kitchen yesterday. It hurt so badly! I think it is likely broken, but have no intention of going to a doctor to get it checked out. There is nothing they can do about about a broken toe anyway. Hopefully it will feel better quickly.
